About The Artist

I am a self-taught oil painter based in Sweet Home Alabama. Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, inspired early on by my grandmother, an incredible woman who at age 94, still created beautiful paintings, quilts and crafts. Her passion sparked my own, and I’ve carried that creative spirit with me ever since.

Years ago, while raising my boys, I ran a small gift shop where I’d often sit and paint, eventually selling my own art work right off the shelves. Today, my love for oil paintings continues to grow. I’m especially drawn to landscapes, classic ships and the timeless beauty of the old masters, whose techniques I love to study and replicate.

My greatest hope is that my art brings warmth, beauty and hoy into people’s homes for years to come. Thank you for visiting, and I am so glad you’re here!
